We were challenged to breathe life into the retro gaming community on Twitter through a PR-first stunt. The main goal was to celebrate retro gaming and spark new conversations. Our first step was to understand retro gaming and the nuances that make it so popular. Cheat codes are a huge element, but we needed a reason for that to be relevant. Kazuhisa Hashimoto, the creator of the famous Konami Code, recently passed away. This was the perfect opportunity to honor his work. Our idea hides classic retro games on Twitter that are unlocked using his very own Konami Code.

This brief challenged us to develop a product or service that heightened the reading experience. As more and more readers are switching to audiobooks, we were faced with the problem of capturing that world-creating magic found in pages. Rather than trying to pull readers back to physical books, we decided to take the magic where they are. Music plays an integral part in storytelling, amplifying emotion and resonance. Working with audiobook narrations, we will create curated musical soundtracks with renowned composers. This music and voice combination will create a more visceral and impactful reading experience.

Is it true that sex can sex sell anything? Even Pyrex? The truth is, food is sexy. The spaghetti stained container you keep in the back of the fridge with your leftovers is not. Pyrex glass keeps your leftovers looking like something you might still want to eat tomorrow. I had fun playing copywriter on this one.
